TCPL is pleased to present YardWorks: Garden Design for Native Birds - A special exhibit with talks about creating the perfect back yard habitat for native birds during February and March 2014.
The YardWorks Project presents designs for a better bird habitat and a healthier environment in neighborhood yards.
Seventeen Fall Creek residents recently participated in the YardWorks Project which is sponsored by Cornell University Senior Design Studio and Cornell Cooperative Extension. Students from the Senior Design Studio of Joshua Cerra, Cornell Professor of Landscape Architecture, created graphic boards which illustrate neighborhood-level environmental analyses of the area, urban ecological design methods, and individual site designs for each homeowner.
During March Gallery Opening Night on Friday, March 7, a special program will be presented about this project in the BorgWarner Room. More information will follow.
